หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : Histological Study on the Development of Digestive System in Zoeal Stages of Mud Crab (Scylla olivacea)) ผู้เขียน:ดร.พัฒนี จันทรโรทัย, รองศาสตราจารย์, นพรัตน์ สระแก้ว, Anong Sawanyatiputi สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractHistological study of the digestive system was conducted in the zoeal stages (zoea 1- zoea 5) of mud crabs (Scylla olivacea). The results showed that the digestive system of zoeae could be divided into three parts; foregut, midgut and hindgut. For the foregut, the gastric mill was not present in the cardiac stomach. The gland filter, anterior midgut caeca and posterior midgut caeca were not developed in the first and the early second zoeal stage. However, in the third zoea stage, these structures were developed and progressively increased in the later zoeal stage. The midgut gland or hepatopancreas was developed throughout the zoeal stages (zoea 1- zoea 5). This result showed the complexity of hepatopancreas , the more branched and larger size of this structure were found in the later zoeal stage. |
หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : Histological Study of the Intestine of Stoliczkae's Barb Puntius stoliczkanus (Day, 1871) (Cypriniformes: Cyprinidae)) ผู้เขียน:Sinlapachai Senarat, Watiporn Yenchum, พิสิษฐ์ พูลประเสริฐ สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractThe histological and histochemical characteristics of the digestive tract of Stoliczkae's barb Puntius stoliczkanus (Day, 1871) were examined. This fish had an intermediate gut length with the nonexistence of the stomach. The histology revealed that the intestine consisted of four different layers: mucosa, submucosa, muscularis and serosa. The mucosa comprised the various villi and simple, columnar epithelia which were lying on the lamina propria. Muscularis mucosae and mucosal tubular glands were not present. Eosinophilic granular cells were observed along the intestine, mainly beneath the lamina propria. Histochemical analysis showed the goblet cells and eosinophilic granular cells react positively with periodic acid-Schiff. This research reports on the histological study of the alimentary tract of P. stoliczkanus for the first time. |

หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : Histological Study on Effect of Kapok Seed Meal and Kapok Seeds on Gonads and Livers in Broilers) ผู้เขียน:Supaluk Tiansuwan, Prateep Rachapaetayakom, ดร.กฤษณ์ มงคลปัญญา, รองศาสตราจารย์ สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractHistological studies on gonads and livers of broilers after fed with a ration supplemented with kapok seed meal to replace 20% plant protein or kapok seeds to replace 10% plant protein for 8 weeks were carried out. Increase of stromal connective tissue and decrease of developing follicles were observed in the ovaries in comparison with the control. Proliferation of interseminiferous tubule counective tissue in testes of the treated animals was also revealed. The livers were affected with histological lesions of degeneration, focal necrosis and fibrosis. |

หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : Histological Investigation of Fungal Endophytes in Healthy Tissues of Azadirachta indica A. Juss.) ผู้เขียน:V.C. Verma, S.K. Singh, R.N. Kharwar สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractThe presence of endophytic fungal mycelia within healthy tissue is most commonly detected by long incubation of small pieces of surface-sterilized healthy tissue on agar plates and the emergence of their mycelia or spores. Thus, to understand their biology and distribution within the host, it is mandatory to use histological tools to locate the endophytic mycelia as well as spores in vivo within healthy tissue. Thin microtome sections were stained with KOH-aniline blue procedures. The prominent fungal structures visualized were the fungal mycelia and occasionally spores. Mostly, the intercellular compact mycelia were observed with a few haustoria and clamp-like structures, while at several locations, the position was ambiguous. A few spore-like structures were also visible which were suspected to be the spores of Humicola or Nigrospora, since these genera have been reported as frequent endophytes from the same host (Azadirachta indica A. Juss.) by isolation methods. Some smaller hyphae were found under the cuticle and within the epidermal cells; however the larger hyphae were observed within all tissues including mesophylls, palisade and spongy parenchyma and vascular tissue. The study emphasized the localization, distribution and signifi cant presence of fungal endophytes of Azadirachta indica within healthy tissues, which may eliminate the suspicion with which some scientists view the presence of endophytes. The study provided further insight in the biology of the host-endophyte relationship as well as encouraging future investigations pertaining to host-endophyte interactions. |
